Alan Eugene Jackson was born on October 17th 1958 in Newnan, Georgia. His Parents are Ruth and the late Eugene. He has 4 sisters. His favorite childhood pet was a spider monkey named "peanuts" He has blond hair and blue eyes.  He stands 6' 4" tall.  On December 15th he married his wife Denise. They met at the Dairy Queen. They have 3 daughters . His favorite movie is "The outlaw Josey Wales", so it is no wonder his favorite actor is Clint Eastwood. While his favorite actress is Jodie Foster. He enjoys the Andy Griffith show and it is his favorite. The first car he ever owned was a 1955 Thunderbird convertible. Which he still owns. His song favorites "He Stopped Loving Her Today" and of the many hits he has written Home is his favorite. Before Alan became a country star he had many other jobs. his first job was in a shoe repair shop at age 12. He also worked as a car, furniture salesman, fork lift driver at K-mart the mail room at TNN.  His break came when his wife met Glen campbell she gave him one of Alan's tapes
